ON WEDNESDAY, THE 17TH OF DECEMBER THE VERKHOVNA RADA CONTINUED ITS WORKING ON THE PLENARY REGIME.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informed the Deputies on the results of the work on the plenary meeting on the 16th of Ukraine.
The peoples Deputies reported on the propositions, appellations and announcements.
Valeriy Alioshyn, the Chairman of the Committee on Regulation on Markets and Finance Services informed on the bill on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine on the activity of credit cooperation system. According to him they are almost all aimed at the protection of the property rights and interests of the members of the credit unions. After the short discussion, the bill was adopted as a basis (235 votes)
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Resolution of its resolution "On the prolongation of the exploration terms of the housing bills for the privatization of the state housing fund"
Any terms of housing bills exploration were canceled by the Resolution.
The People´s Deputies supported the rejection of the Resolution by the total majority 401 votes.
In the second reading the Bill on Amendments to some Laws on Ukraine regarding meeting demands of the insurance groups in case of the insurance group liquidation. Oleksandr Bondar declared that the adoption of the Law will introduce the civilized norm on the demands meeting in case the liquidation of the insurance group into the laws of Ukraine.
The Bill was adopted by 389 votes.
Next the propositions of the President of Ukraine to Law "On the Amendments to Law of Ukraine on "Customs Duty of Ukraine" were scrutinized. The People´s Deputies upheld the propositions of the President regarding the implementation into the National Law international agreements of Ukraine regarding the entrance duty rates that are inevitable part of the Protocol on the Joining WTO by Ukraine.
The Verkhovna Rada has ratified: the Convention on the mutual administrative help in taxation cases, Resolution on the Amendments to Regulations of the Country of goods origin recognition, adopted by the Resolution of the Government leaders of UIC from the 30th of November 2000.
Also were ratified: the Treaty between Government of Ukraine and Government of Bangladesh on trade cooperation, Frame Treaty between the Government of Ukraine and Government of USA on cooperation in the space investigation in the peaceful ways, the Protocol on privileges and immunities of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
The People´s deputies upheld the Laws: on joining of Ukraine to the Strasbourg Treaty on International Patent Classification, on joining of Ukraine to Lokarn Treaty on the Convention of the industry samples unification, on joining of Ukraine to the Convention on unification of some rules of international air transportation.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified the Memorandum on cooperation between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Government of Great Brittan on the exchange and mutual protection of the information with the limited access in the sphere of defence and European Convention on Transfrontier television.
In the end of the morning meeting the People´s Deputies have scrutinized the Bill on Amendments to Law "On Advertising" (regarding the correspondence to the European Convention on Transfrontier television). As a result the Bill was adopted by 236 votes.
